WELFARE EX-SERVICEMEN: INAPPROPRIATE APPOINTMENT OF EX-SERVICEMEN AS  SAFAIWALA UNDER GP. “D” IN INDIAN RAILWAYS

We enclose herewith a representation No.23.Chairman/Rly.Bd./Safaiwala/IREXWA  dated 27th February,2015 received from the Chairman, Indian Railways Ex-servicemen’s Welfare Association, Kolkatta, West Bengal, an affiliated Association of this organization, highlighting the   various  issues   therein pertaining to the Ex-servicemen re-employed in the Indian Railways  for your  perusal and  necessary action at your end. The issues are very pertinent  to be considered  urgently  as these relate to the  community who sacrificed their  youth  for the national security under National Covenent and  may  have  Pan-India  implications and  also affect the morale of the serving soldiers.

We, therefore, imploringly request   to your esteemed  office kindly issue necessary  instructions to the concerning authorities to redress the issues in question at the  earliest in the better interest of the country.

Please  oblige us with  an acknowledgement and also intimation to the undersigned about the action  initiated / to be contemplated in the matter.
